Kenton School Tie – Mark 2

Kenton School Tie-smallYeah – I know it is slightly ever so off topic but our newest and dearest contributor, “fancythat” has donated this picture of her good self with the said Kenton School Tie. Just look at the lovely knot – tied to perfection as if the tie was made of the finest silk and hand crafted by Valentino himself. Look at the lovely unblemished skin with no carbuncles on chin nor cheek. Enjoy fellow Kentoners…..

  1. Many thanks Mensforth,my scurvy seems cured.Actually my Tie was bespoke and indeed made of the finest silk and was made by Vezzolani's of Italy! My hair was made of the finest straw, handpicked from the cornfields that is now Kingston Park.

  3. Yes it was called Wengers. Wengers for Wankers was the more common usage.

I used to buy the free school meal tickets from those poor kids for half price so that they could buy tabs. I got fed AND had money left for tabs too - now that is intelligence - ne pas?

  4. I remember Wengers, the joke was they couldn't cope with cash, being used to vouchers from the Social and Provvy Cheques.
